Some customer experience issues when trying to connect Outlook to SMTP to send emails.
This is due to windows not being updated to use the latest SSL/TLS version 1.2 as is required by our servers.
Instructions on how to update your machine to allow SMTP using TLS 1.2 can be found on the Microsoft website link:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/3140245/update-to-enable-tls-1-1-and-tls-1-2-as-a-default-secure-protocols-in
Due to security of our servers for all customers, we are unable to relax this requirement.
Alternatives are to use webmail (https://webmail.cloud-tree.co.uk)
or
Install an alternative email client that is TLS 1.2 compliant, such as
emClient which is free of charge and can be found at
https://www.emclient.com
